Silence

What is silence? Is it the absence of sound? Or is it wisdom screaming the truth? What defines silence? Why is it so unbearable? Silence: something so frightening. Silence: something that scares even the bravest. Silence and darkness often mesh to form that of only nightmares. Some people can find a light, while some are left stranded in the black hell that they were abandoned in. Or did they choose to venture into the belly of death? Some would give anything to find a light. They would fight to their very deaths to make it; alive they hope, while others are happy to surround themselves by filth with nothing to gain. It's these people that seem to have all the luck and luxury of the world.

Those Who Don’t Dream

In the world, there are people that dream and those who don’t. From the percentage of those who don’t dream, there are people who chose not to dream, those who can’t, and those who don’t have to. Those people who do not have to dream have an easier life than others. The only thing they struggle with is the pain and loneliness of their lives. I am among the people who don’t dream. I don’t have to. I used to dream and I used to feel that it would take me forever to achieve my aspirations and get to where I want to be. But now, I feel as if my dreams are right in front of me. The dreams that was once something so beautiful and valuable that I thought it was made of gold, is a shadow with glowing eyes and a menacing stare. It has an evil grin as if to say, "Try it. I dare you." And I always do. Most people have no idea what dreams really look like and they don’t understand what it can do to them. It’s only the people who have achieved the dreams they once thought were so glorious and priceless that see what dreams really look like. These people who achieved their dreams once felt the way I do now: that his or her dream is right in front of them. These people don’t fight for their dreams anymore. Rather, they fight with them.
